The hook

"My capybara is so perfect, but he's not fast enough."

A gamer's frustration that every player knows. It sounds like a real complaint mid-run, not a sales pitch, so viewers lean in to see what happens.

The structure
  • 0–22s
  • Playing it like a real gamer: reacting to the run, the fights and the loot in real time
  • Transition
  • Pivot from gameplay into what makes the game worth downloading
  • Close
  • A clear call to action to download and play

The approach

  • Playing it, not pitching it. For the first 22 seconds I act like I'm mid-run, headset on at my streaming setup, so it reads as a gameplay clip, not a commercial.
  • The game's loop on full display. Viewers watch the capybara level up, win battles and find treasure day by day, which is exactly the progression that makes the game sticky.
  • Earn attention, then pitch. Only after the gameplay has hooked people does it turn to why the game is worth it and close on the download call to action, so the pitch lands with people who are already interested.
  • Big word-by-word captions so the ad works with the sound off and keeps eyes locked on screen.
  • Built to scale. Native creator content that TikTok's algorithm kept pushing, all the way past 68 million views.
