The hooks

Hook 1 · on screenReply to GOBLIN's comment: "I miss you"

Hook 2 · spoken"You've played Clash Royale, right?"

A comment "from" one of the game's own characters stops the scroll and invites people into the conversation. The spoken question right after speaks straight to lapsed and current players.

The structure
  • 0–2s
  • A reply-to-comment sticker: the Goblin says "I miss you"
  • Hook 2
  • "You've played Clash Royale, right?" pulls in anyone who's ever played
  • Body
  • A gamer's take on why it's worth jumping back in
  • Close
  • A clear call to download and play

The approach

  • A native TikTok feature as the hook. Reply-to-comment stickers look like organic creator content, so viewers read it as a conversation, not an ad.
  • The game's own character in the comments. A Goblin saying "I miss you" is an inside joke for Clash fans and a nudge for players who've drifted away.
  • A double hook. The comment grabs attention, then a direct question qualifies the audience in the next breath, which helped drive a 2.25% CTR.
  • Real gamer credibility. Headset on at my streaming setup, in a classic Xbox 360 tee, talking to players as one of them.
